Alistair MacIntosh
Alistair is a co-founder
and Director of Group One Advisory and has over 16 years experience within the finance and investment industry. He was most recently
employed as a Senior Manager with Macquarie Global Investments, where he worked on a number of new product and investment
strategies. Prior to this, Alistair worked at ANZ Bank as a Private Banker in both Sydney and Adelaide
and then later with ANZ's Financial Institutions team, where he managed client relationships in the Investment
Banking, Insurance and Funds Management sectors. He has considerable experience in dealing with debt products and financial
market instruments.
Alistair holds a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting), a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment
(Investment Management) and a Certificate in Financial Planning & Wealth Creation. He has also completed the first year
of the Chartered Financial Analyst Program.
He enjoys snow skiing and the occasional game of golf, as
well as reading about Australian wartime history and biographies of interesting and inspirational people. He is an active
member of the Australian Jockey Club and a long time member of the South Australian Cricket Association.
Nick Buckland
Nick is a co-founder and Director of Group One Advisory and has over thirteen years experience
within the finance and investment industry. He previously worked as a Vice President at Credit Suisse Investment Bank, responsible
for development and sale of investment products for private clients and the broader Financial Planning industry.
Prior to this Nick held several senior roles
in the Funds Management industry, including time spent at BT Funds Management and AMP Capital Investors, where he has been
responsible for product and business development of investments for institutional and retail investors.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment Management.
He is a keen spectator and participant in a number of sports. An A grade
golfer, keen snow skier and racegoer. He has previously played cricket professionally in the UK and is a member of the
Australian Jockey Club and the Sydney Cricket Ground.
